A book called “Teach your kids to read in 100 easy lessons.” This
book was such a blessing to me. I later found out that public schools
use the same easy lessons in their reading programs. I used this book
for a few years. I used it for K-3rd grade.

Hooked on Phonics Kindergarten and 1st
grade. This also helps our son
with the speech disability.
It comes with a cd that takes you thru the workbook and teaches proper
pronunciation of words.
Hooked on Phonics Master Reader.
This is a great program that really helps your child’s reading
take off.
Our family is one that uses computers. Raina uses them in
support of the educational efforts for our kids and Ray works with them
for a career. One of the challenges many families face
(whether you home school or not) is finding quality, family safe games.
Jumpstart has been around a while and provides fun, educational games
that our kids have loved. We first bought Jumpstart
games before our kids started school and continue to find value in the
games. This link is to their new online game service and
looks to be great for children.
